Hello everyone I have a slight predicament.
So I ended up with a staph infection on my face from a zit. I stupidly put straight tea tree on it and burnt a good chunk of my skin (luckily not to black but still kinda badly)
I went to the doctors who said yes it is a staph infection but because I am in my last few days of school I don't have the time for the fuzzy headedness of antibiotics. So he gave me an ointment that unfortunately just made it worse.
Do any of you know a natural way to deal with an infected burn since that is pretty much what I am dealing with? I am currently using the non-natural Polysporin complete which seems to be helping, and ensuring that I am adding honey, garlic, ginger, acv, lemon, and tumeric to my diet, but I would really like something that isn't the polysporin for the topical.
The antibiotic ointment that he gave me that made it worse was bactroban.
