Hardwood floor help!

I looked through the memories but I didn't find much.. I rent an apartment in a building that is over 100 years old. It has the original hardwood floors which are very scratched and warped and generally just look awful. Since I rent this place, clearly it is not in my budget to refinish the floors. I polished them with EVOO and lemon juice which helped a little bit. I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions on natural ways to help these poor old floors!!
