I use recycled paper towels for the mirrors, and rags for the counter tops and outside of the toilets, although I think I'll switch to recycled paper towels for that for hygienic reasons.
The reason I'm posting is that I like to use a sponge for the tub and I've heard the commercial sponges contain plastic and aren't biodegradable. The problem I have with natural "sponges" is that they were once living sea creatures, no doubt killed for that purpose. Does anyone here have a better solution for large areas?
