Helping someone detox

Are there an herbs or vitamins that can hep someone detox from prescription alcohol. I have a friend who has been sober for 6 months who just went on a bender and he is in pretty bad shape. He gets horrible withdrawal symptoms (shakes, night terrors etc) and is pretty much afraid to stop by himself. All the facilities near here have 86ed him so I

Milk thistle is awesome.

Dandelion is good, too. I almost forgot:) Dandelion does a mild liver detox.

You could get something like RenewLife's Liver Detox.
