Cloth Diapers and Baby Carriers

My pregnancy has been progressing well. We met with the midwife (the only one in the local area) and think she would be great for our homebirth. She has some concerns about my medical history and is consulting with her people before agreeing to take me on. I'm really crossing my fingers because the only alternative in this area (St. Cloud, MN) is to do a hospital birth with a doctor, which I really do not want to do.

Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post about meds during pregnancy. I have not had to take any meds since then, which I'm hoping continues.

We currently live nowhere near any sort of family. My mom and sister are going to want to buy us a lot of stuff for the baby. And everyone in general, this will be the first grandchild for both sides. I told my sister I would love for her to help start our cloth diaper collection and baby slings and she was eager to agree. She's very excited about becoming an aunt!

I am still waiting for approval for the cloth diaper community, so I'm not sure which diapers are the best. I was thinking prefolds for the 0-3 month stage and then switching to all-in-ones for the rest of the time. Good idea, bad? I have experience with cloth diapers but they only used prefolds the entire time and I would use different styles. I get the logistics but do not know a whole lot about which brands are better and such.

Baby slings, oh I love them! I was thinking about getting a hotsling and a Maya Wrap but don't know the best places to find them online.

So please spam me with websites for cloth diapers and baby carriers! Also with suggestions for which kind/style and why you liked them and why it worked best for you and your baby so I can pass it along to family. Thanks.
