i called my dad today
to give him my new cell phone number. He was at resturant with friends, so i didnt want to take up too much of his time.
We talked for maybe 5 minutes, he had really bad food poisoning the last two weeks, major antibiotics.
I told him to drink lots of fluids..and that i would talk to him later.
I said i love you, and he said it back.
Thats th first time he has said "i love you" back to me in almost since i was a teenager. its been a long time
I always thought he just wasnt the type to say it back, but that didnt mean he didnt love me. It was just how he was.
I guess i always had my doubts...self induced doubts (arent they always)
It was more of how he said it...that got to me...and not so much that he even said it.
