Yesterday I did something that most New Yorkers never, ever do: I went to Staten Island, and then I did not take the ferry straight back to Manhattan. Instead, I went with a couple of friends and took the Staten Island Railway (which is free and lacks turnstiles at the stations!) to Wolfe's Pond Park, where we hiked around the forest exploring.
