Why, that would be me!

I haven't updated in a while because my life isn't really worth updating. So here, I'm going to bombard you all with twelve quick pics!

It's been absolutely dumping rain nonstop for a few weeks now and it's making all three of us angry, cagey, and restless. Jack can't go for walks, the humans can't go play tennis, the roof won't stop leaking, and all of the animals outside want to come inside for our warmth and food.

A pair of ducks visit occasionally and hang out in the lake behind our shop, which is really just a bunch of puddles that have grouped together.

This is the bathroom, which is a huge work in progress. The shop used to be two separate addresses but we are renting both out and have knocked down the wall between the adjacent bathrooms. We've ripped out one toilet, are installing a second sink (the first didn't work out too well), and are trying to make a shower. It's all very complicated and we've gone through a dozen tentative plans. Anyway, that's why the bathroom looks so shitty.

There's a couple of mice hanging around. Jack has been trying to find them for ages (with no success), and he's driving us mad in the process. DanE managed to trap one in the floor, which is why Jack is looking down there. We've seen a few of them and they ate some of our poptarts while we were gone on vacation. Oh, the humanity! We bought and tried the humane traps, to no avail. I'm pissed about the poptarts and am going to invest in some real neck snapping traps this week.

Now, this is freaky; late last night, while DanE was cleaning and vacuuming and I was trying to school myself on Adobe Illustrator, I saw something flying around. I thought it was a bird and sort of freaked out when I realized it was a bat. Bats carry rabies and bats can bite! Plus Jack is late on getting his shots this year (oops). It flew around for a good ten minutes before crawling into the florescent light fixture on the ceiling. We're guessing it made its way out through one of the air vents up there.

I don't have any photos of Jack humping, cause that's all he's been doing lately, but he carpet surfs on this little rug and it's very pathetic.

We retired the old flag that I made back in November and put up a new one that took me 2.5 hours to put together. Meanwhile I am left to grapple with my enormous tits that have doubled in size. I don't know where they're coming from.

Two weekends ago we went to LA for a mod event. My dress had shrunk in the wash and I didn't realize it until I put it on that night. We were already late so I just went like that and got really drunk so I didn't care anymore. That's my Burberry trenchcoat I found at the thrift store for $9. They're selling them on the Burberry website for $995 - $1215. I hemmed it up all janky because I don't want to cut it just yet - it might bring down the value if I try to sell it later (haha!) Oh, and I got contacts!

We went to Disneyland

where we took photos of us on the Matterhorn

and where I rode Space Mountain for the first time, as it was closed last year for renovations. This year Pirates of the Caribbean is closed, as is the Bayou restaurant, so no Monte Cristos for us. We were seriously disappointed. How can you have a 50th anniversary without Pirates? Plus all of the employees told us the park closed at midnight when they actually closed at 11!

And I know none of you probably care, but I spent three hours cleaning the four palettes on the printing press. It had so much caked up glue spray and shirt fibers and other shit on there. I tried cleaning them a few months ago but wasn't very successful. This time I used razor blades and mineral spirits (a.k.a. paint thinner) and got them sparkling clean. My hands were sore for days afterwards but they look fucking gorgeous now.
