the weekend
A coworker asked me yesterday about my plans for the weekend and I realized I had no social obligations or other events planned. I had a free weekend! So I am lying around surfing the web and occasionally looking out the window at the snow.
I have ordered a Hamilton Beach 6-cup Brewstation because (1) my 10-cup Brewstation broke, but I loved it for more than 2 years and caorann claims that's probably as long as these items will last, and (2) I think I only made 10 cups once, usually I make 4-6 cups. BTW, by cup, Hamilton Beach means those little 6 oz cups that come with most dinnerware sets, as I use a mug, a 6-cup coffeemaker will yield 3 mugs. Plenty since I'm usually the only one drinking coffee.
figleaves.com is having a 20% off sale on Fantasie bras, but I'm still debating on whether and which ones to purchase: Simone or Elodie. I really like the Elodie, but it is more than I really want to spend.
Later I think I will work on my taxes, dust, browse through my new Garner's Modern American Usage, maybe figure out this Skype thing the kids are talking about, catch up on Fringe, White Collar, etc. and finally write up some old thoughts on what I've been reading.
