Lamont's afro

I feel sorry for Hillary Clinton.  I really do.  Oh, don't get me wrong.  I'm totally glad Obama won.   But, think about it for a minute.  Back in '88, George Bush, Sr. came into office and ruined the economy.  Then, in '92, Bill Clinton was chosen and rescued us.  Then we "elected" George Bush, Jr. for some ungodly reason.  And, he makes his father's presidency look like the presidency of JFK.  The Clinton's were all poised to come back in and save us again.  This time with Hillary at the wheel.  Then BAM!!, Obama swoops in and clinches the nomination.  Ain't that about a bitch!
But, you got to run when you think you can win.  I heard a lot of people say, "He could've waited 8 years."  That's a long-ass time to wait.  And you don't know if the country would feel as strongly about him as they did this past year.   Look at Al Gore.  After he "lost" in '00, everyone said at the time, "Hell, just run again in '04.  In '04, the country didn't feel the same way about him.  He didn't even run for the nomination.  So, you got to strike when the iron is hot folks.
