(no subject)
I'm graduating on June, 25th. There's no gradutation ceremony or anything around here, you just get mailed your stuff eventually as I found out a month or so ago when Matze got his. I'm considering the 25th, the day of my oral exam which marks the end of my undergrad studies. I'm preparing for the oral exam right now. It's mostly about Asian American literature and Robinson Crusoe and Heart of Darkness. Yeah, I realize that's a weird combination.
Other than that, I still haven't written my study proposal for the DAAD scholarship because it's hard as hell but I'm going to have to get started tomorrow or on Monday if I want to get this finished in time. I still haven't gone in to see Prof. Nischik about universities because she didn't have an office hour last week. But I talked to Prof. Assmann who I'm taking a class with and I think she might write me a letter of recommendation because she actually remembers me from class and was incredibly nice to me. I have to put a lot of effort into my Slaughterhouse-Five term paper to impress her.
Other than that, I've started working and am mostly preparing bibliographies which is more work than I expected it to be. And sometimes I pick books up at the library, bring them back and scan stuff. That's been it so far.
I'm having dinner with Matze's family tonight. I'm not sure I'm in the mood to but I haven't seen them in a while and I think they're starting to think I don't like them and am avoiding them.
