Spoiled.
That's what I am, by broadband internet. I finally, after two(?) years, found a download link for Volume 20 of Get Backers, and I was feeling that an hour was such a long time to wait for a 62.1 MB file until I remembered that I used to rig Virgil (the laptop) up to the dial-up connection from midnight to morning just before I left for school (because Blast prepaid cards gave you free net time then) to download the volumes of manga. *shakes head at how fast technology seems to be moving*
And it's not like an hour would really matter anyway. I'm at a 24-hour Yellow Cab pizza joint (I think I'm the only customer here) waiting for the sunrise so that I can go home and take a bath before heading back to work. And it's just 4 am.
I have a really nice scarf though, that's soft and warm, and a pretty beige-to-dark brown gradient, and it's sort of functioning as a security blanket. Sense? It's 4 am, and I have had no sleep and a giant cup of coffee and you want sense? I think not!
