Whispers hello, I missed you quite terribly...
So... a lot of things have changed since my last LJ update.
There are so many things I could get into but won't. I have a lot of things about me to confront and fix and deal with, some of which have been there for a while, and some of which were a little unforeseeable. But I'm working on them.
And, school: school is difficult. But basically I think I am going to stay another semester (so it will take me two and a half years) and add a (semi-official) minor field of study in English Lit. My interests are really getting into hermeneutics and values in media (mainly literature) and stuff like that. So it all makes sense.
Teaching... I want so bad to be good at it, and I'm trying.
I'm in a band now too. We haven't done a show yet, but I had to learn all their songs, and we're writing some new stuff. Hopefully we will have a show soon.Whi
I guess the most important thing is that Megan (girl I went out with in the spring) and I got back together. We'll have been back together a month on Tuesday. It's strange, but really great. Strange because... I dunno. All the drinks drank to forget her, all the time I said I was over her. But little things ... hearing a certain song, mostly ... made me realize I wasn't at all. And we both grew and changed a little in our time apart. We both also did things that hurt each other once we found out. But we are back together, and its different now, in a good way. It feels amazing to kiss her and hold her again. Its all I could have ever wanted. She's the most amazing person I ever met, and I feel really lucky.
But alas, its 4am. I hope you all are doing well!
