I Hate Edinburgh

I'm sure I've mentioned this in previous posts but I really do hate that place. There's just no need for it. Yesterday me and a mate went up to Edinburgh to see The Fratellis play at the Corn Exchange, we got off the train at Haymarket, the closest station if you are going from Queen Street, and decided we would try and find the place before grabbing something to eat. So we set off under the impression that it was 10-15 minutes away, 45 minutes later we found the place. I was not happy at this point. Why build a venue that far away from the city center? At least Glasgow has an underground for when you have to get to places. So we grabbed something to eat then sat in the bar until the concert started. The actual concert was really good. After we got out I was dying for a drink and headed to the Asda to get something, unfortunately this had to be one of the few Asdas that aren't 24 hour. I did get a drink in the end but Asda not being open just added to my hatred of that city. We ended up just getting the train from Slateford which is just across the street but takes over an hour to get into Glasgow and only goes to Central. Fortunately my mates dad picked us up from there and gave us a lift home, so it all worked out in the end.
I'm sure the whole city isn't infuriating and useless, I personally have had one good day in Edinburgh, but that was over a year ago.
I hope everybody else had a fun weekend and well done to Jennifer for her successful interview at Napier's, I hope the Cumbria interview is equally auspicious(yes I have been trying to widen my vocabulary, just hope that was the right context).
Anyway I've babbled on enough for one post so take care everybody, bye.
