Part Two:
The Magnetic Vortex
The Journey:
Well.. where did i leave off....hmm..ah, the journey! Sooo, The trip was now sorted, it was a monday, and i was in the train. I thought, hmmm, 3 hours to kill, what shall i do... I ended up watching Return of the Jedi on my psp, totally killed the journey :D, i think ill travel by train more, was really relaxing and comfortable, whereas the opposite is true for coaches. There really not much else to say about the journey, rather eventless and there was no real highlights really, other than the film, and the annoying announcer who kept interuting it (grrrr)!!!
The meet up thinger:
It was a nice cold tuesday night, had arranged to meet Rach at the letchworth fountain (rach, this is again your chance to jump around and sing, u got another mention), and after a little bit of confusion, i finally find out where this so called fountain actually was!
The time is now 20:00, the arranged meet time! no rach as of yet (naughty!), so to keep me warm, and keep my brain active, i decide to see how many laps of the fountain i can stroll before rach shows. 12 laps later, and 4p lost, i see rach! (yay), and i get welcomed with a poke :O! The other side of the fountain, a suspicious looking character rolls out! Was it a caterpillar? was it a possum? No! it was James! raches next door person (correct me if im wrong!)! TO THE PUB!
After an interesting walk to the pub (the magnet), involving my discovery of the letchworth branchs of blockbuster and game, and a giant man eating shrew from Haal, we finally arrived. Ok, there was no shrew, but this is MY story, so if i want a giant man eating shrew from Haal, i can have one! We find an empty table, number 17 (yes i remembered), and interestinly enough, it was made of wood! I Take the first round, Rach has asks for a Gin n Tonic, strictly with lemon and NOT lime, james had a Guinness (jolly spiffing drink old chum!), and i had a john smiths (Rach actually got a DOUBLE gin n tonic with NO lemon or lime!).
so, we were at table 17 of the magnet, we had our drinks, you would think that was enough wouldnt you? but NO! James had to get out his millions! yes, thats right, those little round purble sweeties! 1 or two found their way into raches GnT, and then into the head of my JS, then there was the race too see which one would sink 1st, we wernt watching and we missed it :(, but they eventually did hit he bottom...
ok i REALLY must go.. bus to catch, ill finish part 2 tomorrow!
