I've been writing a lot lately, thinking a lot lately. Not just about life, but about my past. I don't know just some philosophical shit. I'm trying to get some beats going to put some lyrics over them, so I can finally get some songs done. I have a few beats done and just started two more, with the main loops finished today. My writing stype 'flip-flops' in between from what i call 'quick rythming', "a hip hop reserrection / for a new generation / social concence / in the balance" to a more thoughtful rythming technigue, "ive gotta do more than prove myself / ive gotta show the world im on tha next shelf". Both ways work with different beats, but I think the second way is more sophisticated in that you delever a message and you describe more about what your talking about. Either way I'm really stoked about some of the new shit I've been writing. A lot of it is anti-bush, 'hardcore anti-bush'. Writings like 'my verbal assination attempt', 'My fanasy', and 'Change of state'; refer to either taking out bush and his administration or stating we need more than a change but a transfermation into something else. But outside of those tracks, I just finished the main loop for the track 'propel', a song about what pushs me to write. Also, I've finished the track to a song I want to end up being a new DP song. I'm going to record the 'Tha Doc is Opin'' soon, so you'll get a chance to hear that sometime soon.
