Beauty of controversy

Politics is a funny thing when elections loom over a country. Here, the communists might have a chance to get to government again after 21 years, because another party that leads the country more or less yearly (they throw over any other government) is finally willing to form an alliance with them.

Two actors created a video, encouraging young people to convince their family to vote for the other end of the spectrum. It is delightfully politically incorrect, controversial, vulgar and utterly amazing. They were able to get huge attention. Negative, of course. No public figure can react in any other way to a video that is as biased as this one. But it's okay, because they got people to talk. About important things. Like who pays pensions now, and who is going to pay for our pensions. Like what debts do to us now and what they will continue to cost us and our children (Greece, anyone?).

It is modeled after Sarah Silverman's video supporting Barack Obama's campaign.

They offended so many people, and those people are rightfully offended, but I still hope it will work.
