Guess who's getting Married.

Well, today is mine and Steves 6 month anniversary. We planned to go out to dinner. In my most fancy dreams I thought we'd end up at the Steak and Ale. Boy was I mistaken. He got home around 3pm from Manassas Run and I had been home for a while from Mass. I asked him where we were going for dinner and he said, to my surprise, that we had reservations at a resturant in Williamsburg. So we took a nap and got dressed and got on our way to dinner. We drove to the 'burg of burgs and walked to the resturant, the Trellis. It's a beautiful resturant that has world famous "death by chocolate" seven layer cake. We sat down and had a wonderful meal, so many courses I lost count and filled with laughter. We of course had the seven layer cake for desert... and then... to my surprise a second desert came out... a small white try with strawberries surrounding the plate and a red box in the middle, with two glasses of champagne... Steve got on one knee and asked me to be his, always and forever... I was crying so hard I believe I nodded yes unable to form words. It is a gorgeous ring with 28 small diamonds and one really large one to make 29... You see we met on April 29th 2005 for the first time at Marker 20. We began dating on July 29th 2005 and today Janurary 29th, 2006 is our 6 month anniversary. We have a thing for the number twenty-nine.

A girl can hope, but I honestly didn't see it coming. I should have noticed the omen in my clothing... Just before we left I could not find my shoes and had to borrow our roommate and good friend Alyssa's shoes.. BORROWED. My clothes, while nice are not new, I'd say they're OLD. My slip to my skirt is strangely BLUE and my ringe, well, it's very NEW.

something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

and there you have it. Steve and I already have a wonderful life together I can only imagine what the rest has in store. He is my everything, he is the best ever and he is perfect for me.

I'd be lying if I didn't say we knew it from the start. There has been a magic between us since our first Absinthe filled night, I just can't explain it.. I came over that night for a party, I never really left. That makes my life since I met him until the day we die, the longest party ever.

Back in August of 2005 we went tubing wtih Laura and some friends of mine in Charlottesville and picked up some hitch hiking girls and took them to their car... Steve invited them to our wedding.
