I like to look at "hottie" lists primarily for the amusement factor of how convoluted the positions they put those people in (sci-fi lists are even better because I actually agree that most of them are hotties). For instance, Katee Sackhoff is on EW's Sci-Fi Hotties list and she barely looks like herself.
I've been reading vampire novels (Anita Blake and Sookie Stackhouse), so of course I tuned into the premiere of The Vampire Diaries last night on the CW. It sucked, though. As much as I would like to enjoy Ian Somerhalder as a naughty vampire, the human-vamp romance strikes me as more annoying than pleasurable (as so many CW teen romances do, sigh).
The only other shows I plan to watch this fall are Grey's Anatomy and Smallville. So far I'm immune to Glee. I don't know why, people; maybe my fandom sense has been deformed.
