So I went to my oral surgeon appointment. The bus was easy and I was able to find the place easily, so that was a plus. I got there, figured out all the insurance stuff, and the Dr. Smiga (haha) said yep, it's infected and gave me prescriptions for amoxicillin and vicodin (which I can't take right now on 4 hours of sleep or else I will KONK OUT) ( Read more... )

Oh, shizzle. I think I have some sort of strep/tonsilitis again. My throat hurts, I feel drained, and it looks gross again. I really need to take a good look at my tonsils when they're normal so that I can compare. Ick. Making a doctor's appointment tomorrow.

I may have tonsillitis still. UGH. So I'll probably get a refill of antibiotics tomorrow. Now I see why the suggestion to get them out was a good one, trimalynn. I doubt my doc will reccomend it though, plus I don't really want to deal with healing from it ( Read more... )

Today I have gotten very little except laundry done. I've just felt like being cozy and reading and that's ok since I did do a lot of work and a lot of being sick these last two days. Tonsillitis update. My doctor says I have tonsillitis/a kind of strep throat so she gave me some amoxicillin. JEEBUS though, she jabbed that tongue depressor and then the swob into my mouth.
