Nutritious lifestyle a year later

I eat a pizza, I get sick. I don't eat pizza, and instead eat my regular healthy foods, I don't get sick. I see the pattern. It's so clearly obvious the only thing wrong is why I keep eating the damn delicous almost free things. But the taste as the baked pepperoni and cheese and sauce comes into contact with the tongue is not worth the after ( Read more... )

A :9

I don't like soy stuff :I And you said the soup doesn't count. Because that looks tasty.

Also: Does that stuff happen with pizza and only pizza? Are you lactose intolerant? There's always home-made pizza :9

There was a tiny bit of detectable lactose intolerance, so you are right that is a lot of cheese. But I wanted to blame the processed ingredients that make the white dough nutrient-depleted also, all at once with 'pizza'. It's more the fact I ate half of (delicious) Mamma's Pizza (large amount) than other things. I suppose a "full-fast-food-meal" could trigger it too, but just right now comes to mind is pizza (half of), and cookies (half a bag). I just remember that many cookies my muscles twitch uncontrollably for a few seconds.

That's weird, especially the cookie thing :I

But you already hit the doctor so I can't suggest it. I hope it's not something ridiculous like Crohn's and it's just an intolerance to the processed stuff.

oh, i'm not worried. the mere solution is to not eat like that. EXERCISE and NUTRITION will fix this, not the white powders doctors give out like candy. I consider it... A minor blip that's interesting to talk about in the journey of living.

Hey man, my mom's on lots of those white powders :V

Yeah, I'm working on a better diet (slowly, beenishly) myself. No coke or anything but juice, water, and my one weakness, that Arizona green tea (which is not like actual green tea at all). I need to start on the second stage; healthy snacks. :I

I can tell how juice can be bad, but would you be interested? Those juices are mostly sugar. The largest ingredient: sugar. And the lowest ingredient is the ginseng extract, as I can see on Arizona's site. Usually ginseng is in subclinical doses and it does not have measurable medicinal effects[Wikipedia]. Sugar is the #1 thing to eat that gets people fatter, especially refined sugars, and it leads to diabetes eventually. At maximum the body can properly handle 10 grams sugars for a few hours.

Have you tried real green tea? I hate it, but maybe you'll love it. Today I've eaten 2 (pint) "little plastic boxes" of fresh blueberries. And 3 bananas. How about an apple. Apples are sturdy, they don't squish in a backpack. There's a lot health benefits to eating fresh natural foods. Ok, I'm going to stop now, otherwise I will have the problem of writing forever, and never hitting post.

I hate 'real' green tea, as well. :I It's way too bitter. Most tea is for me (although I'll have to try Earl Grey again, it wasn't too bad, I think.). I know the Arizona stuff is basically juice in another mask. I'm really working onto drinking only water. I'm down from 3 cups a day of tea before I left on my trip (where there was no tea) to about 2, and now I have a big bottle of water I'm refilling next to my computer (with a secure lid B|). Juice also lacks caffeine, which I've stopped drinking full-stop. How about V8, is that still cool? X3 I could also hang tomato juice, because my dad loves that stuff and he'll more readily get that ( ... )

It's good you got rid of caffeine, but juices are still just refined sugar-water. You're zerothelegend so maybe can appreciate his way when I say: Say it with me: "SUGAR WATER ( ... )

I'm not that far. And walking to the fridge makes me get up. :V

I wish I'd kept one of my hueg 'walking all day tourist' water bottles from my trip.

I just keep refilling any water bottle. It's not the best, but it's sufficient.
