*incoherent sputtering of the overly excited* I just recieved e-mail confimation that my Advent Children: Complete Blu-ray was shipped today!! If I hadn't been at work all day, I would have been sitting at my computer tracking it every 30 minutes. I was tempted to do just that at work, but we were too busy today. The excitement is killing me. I feel like I'm six years old again, trying to go to sleep on Christmas Eve.
It's kinda sad though, because while I now own a blu-ray player, my TV is so old that it isn't compatible with the player. We tried hooking it up through the cable, but lo and behold, the player didn't come with the HDMI cable. Our tv's most advanced feature is the cable hook up in the back. It's not even digital. I think its somewhere around 14 years old. We usually keep a tv until it wears out (because the darn things are so expensive now) and not even banging on it turns it on. We used to have one that was so old something burned out and there was this triangular black space on one side, which we affectionately referred to as 'the shark fin'.
None of it matters though 'cause I'm getting Advent Children: Complete!!! I'll worry about how I'm going to watch it later.
