I entered another contest
This time I actually entered http://nashiil.deviantart.com/art/Cute-Monster-Wibbles-284690775 one of the many contests on DA. I haven't entered a contest since my disappointing experience with the Startled Cow T-shirt contest on facebook (where I learned that design didn't count...it was all about how many friends you could get to vote for you). This one is called Cute Monster, in which the challenge is to create a monster that is cute. Pretty self-explanatory. Voting is open until Feb 28, but you have to be a member to vote. Here is what I came up with:
Meet Wibbles, a small monster that lives under beds and anywhere a sock can be found. Like snails and hermit crabs, this species of monster uses socks as a mobile house (which explains why one sock is always missing). They also give off a rank odor to deter predators. Their diets consits of dust bunnies, pocket lint and the occassional potato chip.
