Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great one. Mine was very pleasant!
I'm hoping for a really great year! Our neighborhood was full of laughter and noise last night and everyone has having fun. I didn't hear a single gunshot or domestic distrubance, just lots of kids laughing and setting off fireworks (completely ignoring the fact that they are illegal within the city limits XD). Since my aunt got off work at nine this morning, we turned New Year's Eve dinner into New Year's Day lunch, complete with turkey, stuffing and apple cider (non alcoholic, of course). I fed Loki at the same time, so he wouldn't be begging for food while we ate. He didn't even come out of my room when he was done. I went in to check on him and found him passed out on my bed. Of course that was an invitation for mischief. An empty apple cider bottle and passed-out cat were the perfect photo opportunity!
