A very talented singer... even if she's just 14!!!

First of all,

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!

To all of my LJ friends and people i have known and talk to through LJ, thank you so much for making my 2007 an interesting and a KAT-TUNish year *lol*. Its because of you people that i learn so much about KAT-TUN and also made good friends on some of you. I really appreciate all of you guys and all of your lj posts even if i dont reply on some of them. *Hugs*

Okaay, enough of my teary monologue. The reason why i was making an LJ posts now is bacause i cant get enough of this performance by a fellow Filipina. I only know her because there was a fuss on the news that a young filipina singer guested on the Ellen Degeneress (i hope i spelled that right) show. Her name is Charice Pempengco and she's only 14 years old!!! I searched it on YT and i swear she's really awesome!!!! Here's one of the subbed clip [done by coolsmurf] i found in youtube.

Charice Pempengco was a really talented Filipina. Actually, singers like her were kind of normal here in the Philippines but i really cant help to feel proud whenever one of our singers was being appreciated internationally. She enters the contest Little Big Star in one of our biggest TV networks but she just ended up as the 3rd [or 2nd? im not too sure] runner up in the said contest. But, hearing her voice and the winner, all i can think was that "what are the judges thinking?!!". She just got well known internationally because of Youtube! And she was also featured on "E! News".

Charice, what can i say. All of these performances really makes me proud! Kabayan!! Hope you make it big here in the Philippines then Asia then US and then Whole World. With that kind of voice, its not impossible:D
