first classes
I've had all my classes except for my English Senior Seminar. I'm not completely swept away with excitement, which is my usual state at this time in the semester, but I am exceedingly happy and satisfied with the classes I am taking.
I'm living in the UAps with friends for this week of recruitment. And already I'm anxious to move back in to DG. I feel a bit disconnected, unable to find my footing, my rhythm for the semester unestablished. It's amazing how one gets used to a certain way of living and relies on it with all its perks and problems.
But recruitment is going well so far on the counselor side of things. I'm pretty wiped out, and wish someone were up to talk to and unwind with, but the apartment is quiet so I will soon fall asleep (as is probably more productive).
Before I do, though, I shall read some essays on poetic voice :)
