Truth!
I have been thinking, imagine that! I know most people just pass by my posts because they think I'm full of it or whatever but I'm not writing to make people happy. I think there are barriers in our life that we must penetrate. I would like to see the Church united in the sense that the protest(protestant) is not more. Its the only way to unite the Church. Our society is pretty much messed in the anti-uniting sort of way. Individualism rules America, the whats good for me isn't good for you thing runs deep. If there is one God one way to heaven philosophically there has to be one morality. Returning to the Church takes faith and it takes surrender and obediance.
Christ has broken me snaped me more times than I care to mention... but he has taken me back. I was hit in the face and found morality and Christ. I was again crushed losing friends and ripping me out of my comfort zone into a whole new world of the Catholic Church. I fell back into my routine my own protesting ways but he suplexed me back teaching me the value of chastity, obedience, and a real love for the Church and the Great fullness of Truth it represents and protects. He smacked me when I was lacking in love and was prideful. When I was seeking to be a Focus missionary He took me elbow dropped upon me the idea that His love was my power and I wasn't living a joyful Christ centered life. He teaches Obedience and the need for sanctity in our Vocation to holiness. Everyone is called to the vocation of Holiness. I am just one straying lamb that Christ continually pulls back to the flock.
If we continue on our journey learning nothing from life and our experiences we shall all die lonely. Hell is lonely. Hell is designed as a place of regret as gnashing of teeth speaks of the horrid regret we might face when we turn ourselves away. As many times as we turn away from God we must turn back because it is the only true happiness we will ever have. Christ the source and breadth of happiness, peace and joy. If we desire these at all we seek the source Christ. No matter what I read/read, learn I have Confidence in the Truth of the Gospel. You doubters sinners like myself take comfort that we love you and seek you. I say we because of the family Christ has given us!!! The Church is the Family of God! Mary our Mother not to be worshiped but our spiritual mother has taken to constant intercession for us all. She loves us, so let us love her like Christ did. If you love someone you are Christ to them!
No offense to protestants but as we know those who say Bible alone fool themselves. The Church wrote and Canonized the scriptures so in every way we rely upon the Church directly or indirectly. The Church doesn't arbitrarily pick and choose book to place in the Bible. That is the scariest thing for me to think about... when Luther wanted to drop some of the letters because of his own agenda. The Church exists to preserve God's agenda so it is Gods and not us deplorably fake humans. It is essentially important to read Ignatius of Antioch's writings to really find your home in the Catholic Church because you find him speaking of all the sacraments and important teachings of the Church contained within.
Jesus existed: Historical Fact
Jesus was Mad or what He said He was... Everything in the accounts speak otherwise(I mean everything points towards Christ being sane.)
There is a God or isn't... Can only say: can't prove it either way. If your saying you can prove it your probably not talking about God but some abstract anthropomorphic idea such as Zeus or Superman.
Why Christ? He is an Historical figure. Started a movement unlike any other. His morality fits our design: Wrong to kill, divorce, true love His Church perfects morality applying it to today: Contraception proven to be a detriment to marriage society and detriment to love. Doesn't fit with God's divine plan. Contraception makes people objects as sexual partners as we find in todays out for yourself multiple sexual partners and no marriage/divorce rate. Divorce is clearly unacceptable in Christs view as we find our children very much disturbed by it. Lets just say if contraception didn't cause any of this then i'd say your full of it.
Abortion is Wrong no matter the Circumstance. God= divinely knitting people in the wombs... heehee If there is a God and a divine plan then its clear. Christians who are pro-choice eat my soul. Which comes first your faith or politics?? Stand up for God Dang it!! Christ does call sinners remember and if your not going to stand up for morality then how are you calling sinners to repent??? Makes no sense to me as my sentence. haha
God is the giver of Gifts God gives everything our life, our breath, our redemption, our likes and dislikes.
