Unlike the last time, Sachiko wasn't sporting any bandages or visible signs of injuries from training. Because there hadn't been any training. Today. Because Tentsuke-sensei was having a personal day. But he promised that tomorrow would make up for today's break.
So much for any remaining thoughts that he was the sane one of Team Gaia.
If nothing else, this insanity Tentsuke called training would get Konohako and Moegi ready for the upcoming chuunin exam. Despite what her first exam was like, it was highly rare for one team of rookies to participate. Three teams was unheard of. And while Tsurude might want Sachiko to kick ass and take names, her teammates had to be able to pull their own weight.
Maybe she ought to do some extra training with them. To make sure they were ready, because dammittall, Sachiko would make rank this go-round.

"Hey. Come on in, boards are set up on the table," Shikako said, stifling a yawn
She left the door open for Sachiko and went to the kitchen to pour the tea. As she poured she admired the elegant curls of steam that issued forth from the cups. Steam and smoke always gave her a safe comfortable feeling, it reminded her of Asuka-sensei. She put the cups on plate, so as not to burn her hands and headed into the living room where Sachiko had presumably settled.

She did manage to swallow the mouthful, though her tongue felt the way she imagined wood would. "What kind of tea is this?"
