One step at a time [Sachiko, Naruko]
Sachiko: *after much hemming and hawing and reluctance and more than a few sleepless nights just thinking about everything...... finds herself outside Naruko's apartment, staring at the door*
Sachiko: *more than a little nervous, but... knock-knock-knocks anyway*
Naruko: *after long moment the door opens, Naruko squinting at Sachiko blearily as she's stuffing ramen in her mouth, looking like she just woke up* Eh? Sachiko? What's up?
Sachiko: *wearing longsleeves hoodie, hood down* Uhm. Hey. Are-- you busy? *definitely not the normal arrogant Uchiha*
Naruko: *sucks up her noodles and licks her lips, looking confused* No...is something up?
Sachiko: No, not really. *fighting hard to not just scuff her foot and hunch her shoulders* I was, uhm, wondering if you'd, well... *having a hard time meeting her eyes* If you'd help me, er, ...find an apartment. >__<
Naruko: *perks up!* Sure! You can come in if you wanna. Lemme finish this an'd I'll get dressed.
Sachiko: *nods and enters; puts her hands in her pockets*
Naruko: *finishes ramen in double time, races off to her bedroom to change* So, like, why the new apartment? You want a small one like this one?
Sachiko: *looking around and actually seeing Naruko's place for once* *nods* Yeah, a small one's okay. I don't really need all that much room. Just enough to live in.
Naruko: *pokes her head around the doorway to her bedroom* Why do you need an apartment, anyways? What's the matter with your house?
Sachiko: *looks really uncomfortable* I... *swallows* I need to get out of there.
Naruko: *looks worried* What happened? You okay?
Sachiko: *closes her eyes* No.
Naruko: *comes over and hovers hesitantly before hugging Sachiko*
Sachiko: *stiffens but doesn't OMG flail*
Sachiko: *.......maybe kinda sorta slightly not really vaguely hugs back awkwardly*
Naruko: *pets sachiko's hair* ~ <3
Sachiko: >__o *...puts up with it*
Naruko: YOSH! We are on a mission! (\> ^
Sachiko: *oh geez* We don't need to make a big production out of it.
Sachiko: ................do we?
Naruko: ...No, not really. But we can go get dumplings and other good stuff to eat as a treat for when we do get you a place! :D
Sachiko: *nods*
Sachiko: ...............Thanks.
Naruko: No problem! ^^
Naruko: ...So, why the sudden aversion to your house? D:
Sachiko: *looks away, and just looks around while trying to think up an answer*
Sachiko: ........Too many memories.
Naruko: *nods* Okay.
Sachiko: *after a bit as Naruko gets ready* ...I don't get you. o x
Naruko: ???
Sachiko: I mean.... After everything....
Sachiko: *genuinely confused* Yet you're still eager to help me out.
Naruko: *waves it off* 's what friends are for, right? Right! So let's go!
