[Backdated Thread] Artistic Licence [open all Akatsuki]

Akasuna no Sasoriza was a badass hellbitch, by all reasonable accounts. Set her off, or simply catch her on a boring day, and she'd wipe out your country soon as look at you. Everybody knew it.
What not everybody knew was that Sasoriza was also an avid art critic. She loved experiencing new art, loved seeing the art in the mundane, and most especially she loved staring at extremely old things and asking herself if there was any art left in it. Sasoriza adored the fluditiy and instantaneousness of her puppet performances; but she didn't forget that the only reason her puppets or the performances survived was that they had been made to last throughout the ages.
Just like her.
Statues though... Sasoriza had never been too sure about those. I mean, you got some that were interesting or beautiful or striking and that was art... but seriously... this thing?
She stood, staring up at the statue which Leader-sama had been practically bouncing with glee as she unveiled a few years back. This... thing, was their weapon. To be fed by other weapons until it was the ultimate weapon or... something like that. They'd fed it a few bijuu and it seemed happy enough. Right now though, Sasoriza was taking her first really good look at this thing.
It led to only one conclusion.
"Everywhere I go... it's eyes keep following me."
