My dear father just sauntered in, came and stood beside me, inquisitively looking at the screen. I feel this is somewhat an invasion of my privacy. Does he think I'm likely to be looking at hardcore pornography and he can catch me and then slap my wrists? Is he trying to bond with me? Gosh, worse still; Was he trying to take an interest in technology?
I'll bet right now he's now sat on the couch mentally debating which setting he should have the surround sound on while he watches a holiday programme. Daytime TV sucks hard.
Does anyone have parents that are as totally technologically impaired as mine?
+++ Did you know, that only 0.06% of children who do not live with their parents (adoptive/natural) and are cared for by a home, institution or hospital left school with 5 GCSE's (English Qualifications). This is compared to 45% in children who have a family at home and formed secure attachments after birth. Moral? Appreciate the care you get from your parents, it does wonders for you.
