tell me what you want, I'll be it even if, it's another bullet, look no more.

Sorry I haven't been around the last few days, but fear not loyal readers, for you will get an update of my weekend.

Friday night was good. I went over to Linz's to eat snacks, watch a multitude of TV (In chronological order; Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle, Scrubs, Will and Grace, more Scrubs and Jay Leno) and then we listened to some funkboy Ska with her brother Chris who is cool no matter what she says. She bought me a little box from Greece. It was purple, and it had a little horse on the top. Then, on the side in big red ungainly letters it said "I am enjoyable horse". Heaven knows what they were trying to write, but I found that absolutely adorable. She also gave me her "Victor" name patch from her Asian Man jacket. I think I am going to sew it onto my jeans. We will see.

Saturday was another good day. I woke up far too damned late, and then had to rush to get to cricket on time. Even though we lost (again), I still had a really good time, and somehow Lee managed to persuade me to come out with Jordan and him that evening. We went out to The Horseshoe, and commenced to get rioutously drunk. It was Jordan's 16th birthday, so we bought him a monster drink, I believe it consisted of 1/4 pint of rum, 1/4 pint of gin, and then some coke and ice to top it up. I had the first taste, and if I'm absolutely honest, it did taste like drinking a liquidised pine tree, or at least drinking an air freshener. Jordan however, not one to be deterred by a little pine taste finished it off, and we were both absolutely wankered when we got home.

Next morning I was up at 8am feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed (Thank God I don't get hangovers) to go upto cricket. I spent a grand total of 11 hours wicket keeping today. Imagine if you will, doing two squats, then running 10 meters, then repeating about 500 times or for ten hours, whichever is sooner. No wonder my thighs are in such good shape. It wasn't a proper cricket match yesterday, it was kind of an in-club fun day. You get drawn against another person, then you have to bat and bowl against them while everyone else fields (Hence all the wicket keeping) and whoever scores the most from a set number of overs wins. I somehow managed to score 39 runs from 18 balls, and still lost. I can't believe it, thought I was sure to win after I batted so well.

After the cricket finished, I came home and had a shower, and then went back upto the club for a drink and some food. I seem to remember drinking rather a lot of Kronenburg, and I came home rather bladdered, but having not spent any money at all. It's good to have friends who have some cash at all times. I also aquired myself a new bat somehow. The club were throwing it out because it got a little damaged, but I said I'd take it off their collective hands. What a nice fellow I must be.

Anyway, I'm still feeling a little tired from the last two nights of debauchery and the like, so I'm going to head off for now.

I leave you with the profound observation that the England cricket team played like a group of crack addled public schoolboys today.

I'll be back another time, possibly with pictures. Yeehaw.

[Edit] I forgot to mention; My Aunt and Uncle and my cousin Harriet (Three years old and very sweet) have come down to stay for a few days, and I figure it is rude to spend a lot of time on my computer rather than spending time in their company. I will update as often as I can, but it is likely that they may be a little sparse in their arrivals.

Oh, and my new digicam is broken. Apparently it's a common fault, but I have to send it off to get it fixed, so any pictures will be from the old one, so forgive their atrocious quality. We'll see how it goes. [/Edit]
