What is this? A post?
Hello, neglected journal. You work much better than Plurk when it comes to writing lists.
So I've had this raging desire to play Puck ever since I watched Gargoyles. Now, Kiseki is and remains my one true rpg love, but I keep toying with the idea of apping Puck in another game anyway, and I'm mainly looking at either Marina or Paradisa. Time for a list!
Marina:
• Some of the characters there are so good. The Anthy, the Mushu... others, too. Puck wouldn't necessarily have a lot, if any at all, CR with the characters I enjoy, but it'd be nice to just share a game with them.
• It's on IJ, so that's a hundred free icons instead of just fifteen (or thirty, if I can keep from ever editing them).
• It seems smaller than Paradisa while still being quite a big game. And games on IJ generally garner less notice and wank.
• I'm briefly familiar with some of the muns that play there already.
• The one real life week = one IC day seems very backtag-friendly.
Paradisa:
• They have the most amazing Galadriel ever. Again, it's not that she and Puck would necessarily be friendly, but to just be in the same game as her... They also have a Good Omens cast.
• It seems more active than Marina.
• The events seem to be more frequent than in Marina? I'm not sure if that impression is correct, however.
• Since it's on LJ, it would mean that I'd have somewhere to play even when IJ is having downtime, and vice versa.
• Puck would be less restricted in his antics than in Marina. On the other hand, forcing him to work around the rules of Marina and facing the consequences of his actions could potentially be interesting, too.
...It's a tie. Well, wasn't this helpful.
