*dusts off cobwebs*
Well, I promised myself the other day I would write an entry listing all the unusual, noteworthy or just somewhat out of the ordinary things that have happened to me today, mostly just to get this journal writing business back and kicking. First: for anyone who's wondering, I ended up dropping out of the librarian program and moved back home. It's a bit of a bummer, especially as I was really starting to enjoy living on my own, but I'll find something else to do, in due time.
Second: I have been absolutely terrible at commenting to people's entries lately. However, I do read everything that's posted on my f-list. Imagine me as the silent but supportive listener in the corner.
Anyhow - list:
- By chance, both my mother and father happened to buy me a chocolate bar each today
- I've been dancing with my brother to the Princess and the Frog OST
- I was mistaken for a boy for the first time in over a year (it hasn't happened since my hair got long enough)
- I've learned the quick way of telling if a lightbulb is functioning or not
- I read an article mentioning Russia is banning Mein Kampf. Fail, Russia.
And speaking of absolutely nothing - check out this cool
audio illusion. You need headphones, and the effect is even more intense if you close your eyes while listening.
