Artists! Now is the time to make your choice! Note: the author's names are not attached to their story summaries, and wherever possible, identifying details were removed. Once you've chosen a story, we will contact you with the author's name and their contact information, so you can get in touch with them, if you have questions, or need further details when creating art for the story.
Okay, folks, here's the deal. We had several dropouts this year, so there are only two stories to claim, and we have more than two artists signed up. So what will happen is that multiple artists can claim the same story.

Summary:
My Mini Bang follows the young heroine Avayna, who will grow up to be the mother of Caspian X, as she journeys to the capital of Telmarine Narnia for the first time and meets the boy who will become her husband and king. Contains world-building galore, and eventually (though probably outside the scope of this challenge) will explore Miraz's rise to power through the eyes of his brother's widow.

Summary: Set during Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, the raid on the castle ends with Susan and the Narnians left behind becoming prisoners instead of being killed outright. Caspian and Peter argue, plans are formed to get the throne and Susan back from Miraz, and hoping against hope, Aslan will come at Lucy's call.
