So, I haven't posted in forever! Updates:

My grandmother is finally gone! She left yesterday morning. Oh Em Gee, the house is SO quiet without her now. And without the uncle and kids coming over in the evenings. It is such a huuuuuge relief! (Yesterday was also my mum's birthday, so we did a little family party thing on Tuesday so my grandmother was there for it.)

My job is going great! I love it still, etc etc. I really need to start studying for the gre again so I can take it and go to grad school. My dad KEEPS getting on my case about that. It's almost every day now. I'm just a really bad planner, that's really what it is. Whether it's planning time, planning studies, planning anything.

I'm going to Austin this weekend. The baby in the group of family friends my parents made back in Kansas (before and just after I was born) has finally graduated from high school! So I'll be gone tomorrow through Sunday for that. I think it'll be fun, but there will be SO many people staying at their house, so hopefully not too crowded.

I have been frustrated with various people in my life, both online friends and off. Those people just keep doing things that add up to the frustration and I don't get a chance to talk to them or explain to them what they're doing to piss me off. Instead, the few times I do get to talk to them lately, I try just to be civil and not mean or angry. It sometimes does not work so well, I admit. I get so tempted, times like those, to just stop talking to them altogether. It's awful.

On the other hand, there are a few people very close to me that I'm so, SO grateful to have in my life. I love you very much.

I have plans to go to California for two weeks in the beginning of July for a family reunion sort of thing. I'm pretty excited to see that side of my family again, even if it's just for the cousins. I miss the babies (three little boy cousins, all around the ages of six to ten). I'm also really excited that it'll be cooler there and omg, Pacific beaches! We have to go. And redwood forests!

Also in traveling news, I want to go to Europe this fall with emryssa! I am still thinking about logistics and costs, so we'll see how it falls, and I haven't mentioned it to the parents yet, but I really hope it goes through. I've never been to Europe to actually visit. In the past, it was just a stop-over for going to Pakistan.

Okay, I think I'm done talking for now. Will update more later!
