i know what you mean. (weirdly, i had a similar convo recently about that...) every once in awhile it's nice to have the door opened for, but more in the i'm-carrying-a-heavy-box-so-please-help-me-open-the-door way rather than the i'm-a-girl-and-you're-a-macho-guy-and-i'm-so-helpless-save-me,-knight-in-shining-armor kind of way.
but it's nice. (but nice for ANYONE to hold it, not meaning guys.)

well, normally i think its nice too, but it was the fashion in which these guys did it that basically said "we think you are a weak little girl that can't hold a door open" and "we just want to look at you're body and not care about the rest of you". (well, maybe they didn't mean that, but thats what it felt like)

i mean, earlier, i was hanging out with some other guys, and the held the door open too, but it was more in the "hey, i gotta pass through here, and so do you, so i'm going to hold the door because a. i got here 1st and b. you better hold it open next, because i'm letting go soon and c. there's people behind you too" way.
