"Been a long road to follow..."
Sooo Friday was my [early] birthday party thing. We went and saw Golden Compass [we being Meg, Brittany, Jess, Sky, and Kevin], which was pretty good. I thought it went well with what I remembered of the book, and certain things were very pleasing, like Bolvangar and Iorek and the omgrippingoffofjaws and stuffs. After that there were some side trips and then we hung around at my house for Jess, ate [omg!awesome coffee ice cream thing Meg made, much thanks], opened presents, [listened to Tralala] etc. Then we went to the park at like 11 and played a round of hide and seek, heh. [Sky and I were a rock :D] Um, after that there was much randomness until we finally scrambled things together to watch a movie, which of course, because it was a Friday and Friday parties always end so, no one watched because everyone passed out. I watched a little of it then completely died and woke up at the very end and was like wow, well - that's over, [click] [die].
Brittany had to get up early to go to Augusta, Jessica had to leave early for work I think, so Meg, Sky, and I slept/dozed on and off all morning and then hung about, eating and stuffs. After Meg left, Sky and I mini-marathoned some Fushigi Yugi, heh [finally, on my part]. It was very yay, heh. She left late-ish and I did whatever the rest of the night.
Aaaand today, I woke up at like one and Kevin invited me over to watch Oofuri 11. We did so, and hung around a bit, then decided to get coffee. After that, things kinda went everywhere, heh - we had to take Eric to their mom's, but first had to take something to Kendra's, then Java's was closed, so we went to BAM, and then Kevin needed to meet with Stephen at Starbuck's but it turned out he didn't really, heh, and then Kevin forgot something so we went back to his Dad's...yeah. So we're being cool and getting me home vaguely backroadsishly, having a nice chat, and uh-oh - Kimberly on my side of Russell is narrower, you have to curve to get back on it, "Um..." cuuurb - oops...maybe we're cool? [vibrate]...nevermind. Flat tire.
So yeah, I definitely know how to change a tire now, heh. We pulled in at Children's Friend and his peoples came and between peoples things got done, and Kevin got his little dough nut tire on, his mom drove his car, and he got hers and took me home - and here I am :D
So that was eventful. One more week of classes, one of finals, and I couldn't be more ready for Christmas break. BWAP.
