(no subject)
today i went back to my old apartment to get the last of my stuff out, and to make sure the place was clean enough. the front door was unlocked, which was my first clue that something was not right. once i got into the apartment there were tools and dinnerware and random items around.... and whatever i had left behind was gone, thrown in the garbage i presume.
my lease doesn't end until wednesday, the first. and i can't remember what all i left in the apartment that was thrown out. bah.
i looked in the fridge to see if my food had been thrown out, most of it had- all but my grape soda (and a beer that was there when i moved in) so i took the grape soda, left my keys on the counter, and got the hell up outta there.
at least i cant remember what i left behind, i suppose i wont miss it if i cant remember.
i am quite mad that the landlord went into the apartment before my lease was up, and assumed that i was gone for good even though there was still some random stuff and i had not left him the keys. he never even called to ask. makes me wonder if he'd let himself into my apartment before.
thankfully, i never payed him this months rent, hoping i could get away with just letting him keep the deposit as rent (since i suspect if i had paid rent he would have kept the deposit anyway).
when i called my mom to bitch about the situation, her response was "are there any good tools you can take?!?!!" hahaha, i guess she can be a'ight sometimes.
i've started reading (VERY slowly) undoing gender. i've been thinking a lot lately about alternative forms of relationships, and gender, and why lesbians buy dildos that look realistic.
i've come to the conclusion that within me there exists a compulsive monogomist (similar to compulsive heterosexuality). i've been so brainwashed by my culture that i cant quite figure out nonmonogomy and i forget it even exists, i forget that it is an option and i have to consciously remind myself of it.
maybe i should get a life and focus on school a little more.
