(no subject)
i'm back in tampa, after three days in tally, which fuckin flew by.
the florida trip is going by quicker than i anticipated, im eating much less than i thought i would, and getting along with my mother just as poorly as i suspected.
surprisingly enough i've found myself missing san francisco on several different occassions, become madly addicted to the tv series lost, and i started like nine different knitting projects.
my sleep is still messed up, i cant get to bed earlier than 3/4 am (and each of these times i woke my mother up on my way to bed- which she was quite pissed about) and i always seem to get woken up by 9 am. i'm suffering from serious sleep depravation.
i decopaged adri a really cool box for her to keep her vibrator in, so the dog at her house doesnt chew it up again. it turned out to be too small. i completely underestimated the size of the rabbit. lol.
i feel all anxious and jittery being in florida, knowing that im so close to everyone and not being able to see them. i need to figure out how to get to my dads house in the next couple of days, and then to gainesville... because my mom seems to be less than helpful (which, of course, shouldnt suprise me in the least) and refuses to drive anywhere after dark (which proves problematic since she gets off work at 5 and the world starts getting dark at 6).
i was just reading and getting caught up on lj since i havent been on in days, and i was reading about the potential new years party. it sounds super fun, and could be the event to turn around my bad new years eve streak ive suffered from for years. or it could just contribute to the streak. its a tough call.
i'm gonna call casey and see if we cant meet up tonight for stenciling fun. then ive gotta figure out how to get my ass to my dads and when so i can start calling other Tampa people to arrange the rest of my stay here. phew.
