hello :) I just wanted to know if chapter 1-3 of In These Words what part novel and what part art?? Thanks ^^

Hey (:
As of today, that ITW4 arrived (I thought they had 3 volumes only, but it seems it'll go way past 4. Dunno how many tho), I can say that except for volume 1 (the one shown above), they're all drawn (art).
Volume 1 has the first half divided in art and text, and the other half in art only, so I'd say about 25% text and the rest is art (:

aah thanks :) I will buy it soon ^^ I just don't really know how her artwork is. It doesn't seem the same in every shot when I look at the samples. I don't know how much I like Chinese artist work. Sometimes I like sometimes it's amiss.

Her art is pretty off when compared to other doujin artists. It's really realistic, and I really love it (but please don't mind me, I'm REALLY into Jo Chen's work, I could even be considered a low-level stalker lol) ♥ Her colored pieces are absolutely flawless, and the inside of the book itself is kinda rough, I'd even say sketchy ♥♥♥. If you want, I can take some pics of what I have so you can take a look :D

I like her colored art too! I've seen it once or twice I just never knew who she was .. since tapping into the chinese market to get BL books is VERY HARD! Unlike Japanese books which everyone sells used on Livejournal buying BL chinese books is sooo darn difficult that I gave up doing the research lol

Anyways I saw some samples from their shop website, but if you can send me some more of just the comics and not just an illustration that would be perfect! She only had a 2 samples of the comic with picture and word so it's hard to tell if I liked it, but the scratchy illustrations you are talking about I have seen samples on her website and I like it! :) Just that when I saw the two samples of the actual manga comic it looked different from her other art so I was like @_@ hmm.

I'm trying to buy some doujinshi from taiwan right now and their website is so damn complicated to use! >_

I took some pics off the second and third volume. Sorry I didn't take more, I had to "steal" my Mom's camera for a few minutes since my sister's traveling and she took mine with her lol aaaaand Mom's kinda jealous of her camera D:

oh the art is pretty decent :) But the eyes need work I think haha.

Anyways now the big question ... I only like to collect R18 works which hers I know is R18, but how explicit is the sex scenes?

if you can just show me one sample of an explicit scene or just tell me do you see private parts, or are they censored that would help me a lot ^^

oh and yes I import a lot of doujinshi and manga from Japan :)

I've bought a couple of artbooks from taiwan and a few manhua, however because its hard to determine what is novel and what is full comic that I do not bother buying their books anymore because as noted before I don't read novels lol ^^

And lol, I see. Yeah, sometimes artists don't leave good samples available, which sucks 'cause you have no idea what's inside.
I've downloaded some novels when I thought they were comics... and yeah, pretty boring.

Okay, I took some pics of the fourth volume and some of their other project, Cruel to be Kind. I don't know if you're interested; it's just some random pilot scenes, some pages with commentaries and part of it is a novel, too.

ok I'm sold! I'm going to order them! As for CTBK, so it's not a comic just illustrations and a novel part? Can you tell me how many pages of illustration and how many pages of novel. If its a lot of illustration compared to novel I will still buy it for the pictures ^^
