Okay, so I hadn't planned on coloring this but I got carried away.  ^_^  It's been ages since I've colored anything digitally...mostly because I hate coloring with the mouse, not to mention the fact that I didn't have a scanner into more recently.  The fact that I wasn't drawing any for quite awhile doesn't help either.  Anywho, here's Jazz!

...it was a day in which I took entirely too many photos.  Seriously, I took 183 pics out on my walk today and 4 little videos on top of that!  So, what did I find that fascinated me so?  I've uploaded some to my gallery here.  If you don't like bugs, don't click.  Only the first and the last two pictures here are bug free.

Kind of bummed to say that my painting attempts were met with failure.  :\  At least I can see some improvement from the first to the last attempt, should have known better than to try something challenging right off the bat!  I tried to paint this landscape scene...and let me tell, I struggle with greens on a good day and yesterday was a bad one ( Read more... )

Well, sort of. XD What can I say folks? It's only a sketch but it's the first drawing I've turned out where I wasn't drawing straight off a screen cap. It's original and I' proud of it, dammit! :D

So, I continue to fail at all those other things I had resolved to be doing this year (including journaling/writing, really been failing at that), but hey, all's well in the drawing department! Here's my drawing from last night. First time I've ever drawn Alphonse Elric, too. I totally made his hands too small, haha. Typical me. XD
