Credit cards = stupidness!

Okay, yesterday I got a letter from Citi Bank.  Seeing as how I had just canceled my credit card with them a few weeks ago, I figured this was just to confirm that my card had been canceled.   It was a bill.  A bill for the card I had canceled.  C-A-N-C-E-L-E-D.  Um, WTF?  Suspecting that the card hadn't actually been canceled, I went ahead and called Citibank up.

Me:  Um, yeah.  I called awhile back to cancel my card and I just got a bill today, so I wanted to make sure that my card had actually been canceled and all...
Citibank guy:  Oh, it's showing that your card has been canceled.
Me:  Really?  Okay, so all I have to do is pay this bill and no more Citibank stuff?
Citibank guy:  Yep!  :D
Me:  Okies!  :D  *hangs up*  Wait a second...if I already had my card paid in full before canceling then WHY THE F*** DO I HAVE THIS BILL TO PAY?!?!

Okay, so it's for an itsy, bitsy, teeny amount, but still...grrrrrrr.  Not nearly as bad as the time that Discover card charged for some credit card protections service for a card I had never activated and had cut up and thrown away...:p

It needs to be Aprillllllllll!

credit card, suckage
