Oooh, that's painful.
But, yup. I cooked rice the way he always tells me to. And lo, it was tasty. I also get that he must have learned from his sister in law, as it's the japanese way to cook rice. So kids, if you have short grained rice, washing it until the water runs clear, then letting it soak for as long as you can. Then cooking it, makes for tastyness.
Also, his dutch grainwine is the best gin I have EVEREVEREVER tasted. Better than gin even. YUM.
