Looking forward to a day at home tomorrow sorting out my life and the weekend to come. I know I could probably do with a haircut, but realistically, I'll be shopping at Morrisons for cheap food to feed the horde. The plan is lots of cheese and pate, nice bread to be purchased in Norfolk, a wide range of fruit, + lots of veg, so I can make a big veggie stew, eggs, I'm thinking about potatoes and eggs and onions so I can make spanish omelets, some sort of grain so I (or one of the kitchen slaves) can make a pilaf (hopefully not wheat, so the wheat free can consume), I would love to make a trifle (what do I need for that?), and I'm going to make an allergy trifle for my friend with ME who can't have wheat or dairy (reminds me, soy milk to purchase), breakfast goods, tins of bean for some sort of salad, beer and wine. What am I forgetting? Think I'll bake some meatballs, so carnivores can add to the veg stew as well. Must remember goat's cheese, and non-wheat crackers, also alcohol free drinkies. Crisps, nuts and biscuits, fruit juices. Bacon, sausages and leafy type veg can all be bought in Norfolk.

In amongst all of my rampant consumerism, I'm going to have lunch with the lovely Sarah, and possibly put away some clean clothes.

This week has been operation clean and put away all of the clothes that normally lurk around our house. Mup has been a powerhouse with folding things, and our spare room actually looks like a bedroom, not a bale of material (AMAZING!). I should definitely help out with that, otherwise he'll start posting in a random community named "girlfriends who don't pull their weight".

We're due to go on holiday the third week of May, and were planning to go to France, but our cohorts can't do it anymore, so we're at a loose end. We've been looking at canal boating, but it's expensive for 2 unless we get something last minute. Does anyone have any great holiday recommendations? We like the countryside, an easy pace of life, and walking, as well as some comfort (sunsets, long walks on the beach, kinky sex...ooops, sorry, this isn't a personals add).
