WB-05!
So yeah! This weekend was Winterblast, it was AWESOME of course. Some really intense worship going on there, wow. We had some great speakers this year, 2 brothers from Colorado. They were on fire, man. Both of them were soooo good, and they were halarious, both had awesome testimonys, and just...wow so much love to share.
Friday nights basketball tourniment was fun to watch...lol we got 2nd place. Which is good, but were used to winning it. LOL :) The team we played for the championship was really good!!
Saturday morning they split up the conference into guys and girls, and I have NO idea what the guys talked about, but the girls half of the conference was really good. Our speaker was talking about how girls deal with so many issue problems and self doubt and stuff like that, she was talking about how victims of rape, sexual or physical abuse, girls who have thought about or attempted suicide, should deal with these things. At the end of the talk almost all the girls in the conference were balling, and we prayed for the victims of the mentioned above. And a few girls shared there stories. Wow, One of the girls there was raped when she was 14 and became pregnant by it. She had her baby but gave it up for adoption. She was talking about how angry she was at the world and at god for this happening to her. Then she was envited to go through Nightmare, and there she was saved and prayed for, and now shes an amazing, happy girl who is just filled with love. So yeah :) lots of praying and crying at the girls meeting, i'm really curious about what the guys talked about ^.^ I'll ask someone..
Saturday nights worship was....my goodness. It was super. Theres nothing else to say about it really, except that god was just...WHOOSH!THERE! lol. If you havent experienced this you cant even imagine how that felt with the whole conference singing worship like that together.
Sunday morning was my favorite part. My mom chose christ. Yes my friends, she finally did it. They had an alter call for those wanting to commit to come to the front but she was up on the balcony so she didnt go down, so Michel, and the other chaperones prayed for her up on the balcony. I wish I could have seen it, but I was over in the other section with the other kids, she told me about it though on the way out. I'm so happy!! Now that thats happened, new goal? My dad! and my brother!
