One foot in front of the other
Freak has the car - awake & bored, he's gone up to the ranch to hang out & probably get put to work.
Me... Well, I have to work. Its one of those classic puget sound days - not sunny, but not raining, either. So i'm walking since Freak is staying up north until he's done - sometime tonight, for sure, but unlikely to be in the next 35 minutes or so.
Thing is... Work is slightly less than 2 miles away. Yes, i may not be in the best of shape currently, but if I can't manage to walk to someplace less than 2 miles away? Barring injury or disability? I have no excuse. I'm cut off from having a car in that case. So, I told him to go, gave him the $9 out of my change purse, where the cheapest gas was within a few blocks, & went back to sleep.
Not very effectively, admittedly, but I tried...
Oh, and I got to wash my hair with my new conditioner today. Wow, it is worth making the trip to Manna Mills in Montlake Terrace to pick me up some Nature's Gate Hemp Moisturising Conditioner. Sadly, their distributor doesn't carry gallon bottles of the stuff... 'cause I would totally do that. Either way, Its a small, locally owned health food store. I kinda like those.
