There is some wisteria growing near the house. The ground is criscrossed with vines. Only the end of the vine has leaves on it, right beside the house. The rest of the vine is so big with roots digging in deeply all along the runner ( Read more... )

I sat in the swing with my mom and made a wisteria basket. It took me a couple of hours I guess, but it's pretty nice. I had some trouble with some of the vines. The root vines are very supple, but the ones that go up the tree are quite brittle. I used some of the above ground ones cos they were smaller, but most of them were the fatter ones. ( Read more... )
