Remembrance Day.

When I used to think of remembrance day, I always thought of old men but now when I think of remembrance day, I think of teenagers.

I got up really early, 330 and I stayed up till 530. I was finally able to tidy up the end of the living room, the children’s area. I went back to bed and had a wonderful sleep until 930.

I planted the garlic that had been harvested from our crop this year. The other garlics are about 4 inches tall. Is that right? Are they supposed to be growing right now? But you do plant them in the autumn and so I did plant them in the autumn but it’s been warm enough that they’ve sprouted and grown a bit.

I harvested some celtuce leaves from Ennis garden. Willem harvested a bunch of other leaves that were out there growing, broccoli, and celery and what not. Also a bok choy.

I made a live video and cooked up all the leftover onions and peppers and spring onions and all the spinach and greens that will just harvested as well as two last carrots

I don’t have the children at all until Friday. I feel like I should do something momentous. I’ve been working on getting my house clean. Ava doesn’t come anymore because I’ve been sick. But I am trying to do it myself. I’ve got the family room and the kitchen and now the end of the living room pretty good. I was going to make a bookcase to hold the children’s craft things, but after sorting and the junking, I don’t have to do that anymore

There are still some things out there in the yard that need to be taken care of. I tried to start the Rototiller, but was not able to. That needs to come into the shelter.

There are other things out there, plastic sheets, and boards that should be put away. It’s quite exciting that there is so much food still growing in the garden even though there’s been such a lot of frost.

I’d like to take some of the things to her in the trailer and bring back bags of leaves to put on the garden beds.

I don’t have the energy for that right now. But I did make a wonderful stirfry which is on the stove.

And I cleaned up afterwards so the kitchen is still tidy. Daniel and Anna use a lot of meat, so the freezers are all full to the top with meat, but I would rather not eat it if I don’t have to. I suppose I should eat a little bit sometimes, but I’d rather make lentils. I should make a pot of lentils.

It’s raining very slightly, almost like heavy missed not enough to call a sprinkle.

Last night willem put the geraniums that are in the hanging baskets in the kitchen for me. I was able to lift them up enough in their baskets to put plastic liners beneath them.

Four of them are finished, but I would like to do some more. I think there are four more in the other room.

I am planning to dejunk the upstairs large room. Daniel uses it for his office and their garden, so all of my containers up there are pretty well in the way. I would like to get them out of there get rid of what I don’t need. I have no place to store any of it down here unless I use the sunroom. But the sunroom is extremely full already.

Daniel and Anna are in Mexico, enjoying some warm air and a wonderful time diving and walking. I’m so pleased for them.

They rented an Airbnb so that Enna can cook their meals. I hope it’s cheap enough that they can stay there for the whole winter and enjoy the Weather and avoid the depression and clouds and cold of winter.
