I found a Jackson relative
Having the whole day to play with, as I was driving along near the St. Lawrence river, I came upon Oakland cemetery and pulled in. Yesterday I had downloaded BillionGraves app, and so tried to use it. I took pictures of three gravestones, transcribed them and uploaded the photos.
As I drove further, I saw Jackson. I stopped and looked it up in Family Tree. Ali E Jackson turned out to be Alexander Eliza Jackson married to Corr caper. All the information was there and all of the Temple work had been done before. There were duplicates of themselves and their children. It was fascinating to see all these things , come alive to me.
I merged some of the people and check to find out my relationship to Ali E Jackson
My seventh cousin twice removed. Amazing! Here I am in Canada, 1500 km from where I grew up, and seven hours from where my family of Jacksons is and yet here is a relative.
Now I’m hooked. I want to look up the people on other tombstones.
